The performance before this was hosted by the Dame. She called it "speed hating", though in essence it was more like short term dating. Each participant needed to ask the other at least five questions, and questions either needed to be answered truthfully, or returned with a stab from the provided knife.
There were cards supplied to help with questions, though they were optional. Pink ones had soft relationship questions, red ones generally concerned intimate preferences, and black were hard lines and moral choices.
At the end of the date, you decided whether the other person was an acceptable match. If they were and you both agreed, the two of you would kiss. If not, you would part ways.
I went on thirteen dates, and refused all of them. Though I only used the knife once.
