SIREN'S MELODIES

[The Showmaster leads you through the dark stage and you find yourself entering something that looks like a very nice and expensive classroom.

Each desk is spacious with drawers that you will conveniently find any important item that had been on your person or that you feel like you would need here. Each chair is cushy and swivels.

Sitting on top of the teacher's desk is a young girl, older teen / younger adult in age at most, hair that looks like mint cotton candy that probably reaches down to her ankles. She has a knee drawn up to her body, resting her chin on top as she scours the room of who arrived . . .

And then she looks at you all with pity in her face. You'll notice that her purple eyes shifts when she makes the scowl, it goes from a solid purple to a purple mixed in with this symbol in blue also.]

Poor, poor, Sirens, victims of one of the worst tragedies, and yet you also committed one of the worst tragedies. I can't decide whether to feel bad for you or to hate you.

Once upon a time, Siren's Melodies did not have the luxurious lifestyle that they have now. They wanted to bring happiness and fun for those who weren't doing as well.

Not every Melody had a beautiful beginning, and yet that doesn't make the song any less beautiful.

But you hate to sing it anyway.

[You feel embarrassed about your past, constantly worried everyone will see beyond your current image.]

There was a body part found on the beach shore.

And the person who found the body part saw eyes staring back at them from the ocean.

And saw them spit out an eyeball.

[And so you too can feel your eye popping out of its socket and rolling on the floor.]

They're still bad, but sticking together makes them less bad.

["You know though." Emily looked at Jeno. "They say that maybe it's not the Siren who is eating the ones that get thrown into the ocean."]

You are hungry.

And your other teammates look kind of tasty. Interpret that as you will.

[GUESS LALA IS MADE TO WEAR A CROWN AND SING AND ALSO HIS EYE POPS OUT ON THE SIDE

Lala manages to sound halfway professional about the singing bit, but given that this is his first experience with losing an entire part of his body and there is probably a lot of carnage happening around him he can probably be forgiven if his voice is wavering at times. He covers the empty eye socket with a hand and also a wing, since it popped out so cartoonishly it might not even be bleeding or w/e but it's difficult to tell.]

The power of friendship!

It's not just for anime.

For all the tyrants that no one loves, you know what they say.

And you feel it, your head being cut right off. However, you realize your head is still there. But there's now a tight, restricting collar. If you remove it, you know your head will fall with it. That collar must stay there.

Because all tyrants should know their place. Be the idol that we want to worship or else.

The one you love has been eaten and it wasn't you. You can only sing a song to the next person you love, otherwise they'll be eaten too.

You can sing a song at someone and they'll be compelled to follow your orders until you stop singing. This compulsion increases if you start to worry they might leave you behind.]

[ As much as he wants to help grab the eye, his arms are bound behind him, and he's doubled over, bleeding from the throat. Still, his gaze follows the eye a little too intensely as he considers grabbing it with his teeth and lips instead.

...Probably a bad idea as his stomach lets out a disturbing rumble. ]

You can see the stars above you and you sigh. Despite this, at least you're free from the spotlight, away from the stalkers, the crazy fans, the perverts ... you're free.

Fuuuuuuck this, you'll put someone else in your spot, see how they like it. You didn't go through the hell and all those experiments and scrubbing in dirt to become a skeleton in a chair, THAT'S STUPID AS HECK THAT'S SOOO STUUUUUUUUUUUUPID.

You wish to devour them whole. All of them. Your loved ones. Your friends. Your family. Even your fans when you had your brief moment in the starlight.

Now, not necessarily with your teeth, that's silly although you're not opposed to it.

But you wish to become them- no, you want them to become you.

You don't want to kill the storytellers, you want to absorb them. You wish to take them. Hold them. Love them.

[If people touch you for prolonged amounts of time, they'll find themselves being absorbed by your person like quicksand.]

[ There is blood pooling around his legs as he tries to say anything, but only a harsh wheeze comes out. His wrists are also bound behind him, making it hard for him to feel around his throat or do much else except stare at the mess rolling down the front of his shirt.

He's also wondering if he can actually drink his own blood back into himself... ]

Do you know what's the scariest thing?

That it wasn't the drowning that killed the Melodies in the River. It wasn't even just the flowers.

But there was an experiment that was done in that river. To make something that should have been mostly harmless into something horrible.

The Storyteller on the desk slowly convulses as if being taken over by a poison, falling onto the desk. As they lie there, their body starts to bubble and the bubbles grow and they grow and they grow ... as if their insides were dissolving ...

[Wincing and trying to cover his ears. Sorry Lala, it's not you. He will try to free up a hand from his ears to pick up that eye though]

[Uncurls from where he was covering his hands over his ears and rushes over clumsily]

[ there are two ~~wolves~~ legends inside Jem: one delights in seeing the misery of a man bleeding out, the other wants to absorb him into herself in the most unnatural way possible.

She opens her arms to Friday. ]

[ He really wants to take a chunk out of the side of her neck...and it's precisely because of that thought that he lurches away. He's not going to tempt himself any further, shaking his head rapidly because he can't speak. ]

[ His gaze lands on Jewel's mouth as he licks his own lips without thinking before squeezing his feathers cover his eyes. Nope. Intrusive thoughts are not going to win at the moment.

but what if he took a tiny nibble... ]

[ he's bleeding out beautifully while he refuses. she could watch this all day.

But when he pulls back, she reaches out for his hand. ]

Whoopsie, you dropped this.

[ normally, Jem would panic and cry, but she very calmly snatches the eye. She's pretty pleased by this, staring at Lala's empty socket and down at the eye. The longer it stays cradled in her palm, it starts to sink into the flesh... ]

[Pulling off his jacket and pressing it to Friday’s throat, trying to stop the bleeding as he looks around for Jem]

[ she shouldn't be happy about this. She should be screaming and crying, begging people to let her heal them.

Instead, she watches the suffering of those around her with delight. ]

[ His hands are bound, so he can't really even give her that, though he is thinking about biting hers. He moves back further instead, his extra headwings popping out to cover his face while he shakes his head fast. ]

They say they would kidnap the voices of Sirens and turn them into music boxes to auction off.

Rumors say it might have been the voices of Acidia though."
