[The Showmaster leads you through the dark stage and you find yourself entering something that looks like a very nice and expensive classroom.

Each desk is spacious with drawers that you will conveniently find any important item that had been on your person or that you feel like you would need here. Each chair is cushy and swivels.

Sitting on top of the teacher's desk is a young girl, older teen / younger adult in age at most, hair that looks like mint cotton candy that probably reaches down to her ankles. She has a knee drawn up to her body, resting her chin on top as she scours the room of who arrived . . .

And then she looks at you all with disdain and slight fear in her face. You'll notice that her purple eyes shifts when she makes the scowl, it goes from a solid purple to a purple mixed in with this symbol in green also.]

I thought you guys might have been the exception, but oh no, no, no. Absolutely NOT.

[watching his fingers melt ig, though when he glances over to the Storyteller he pauses, just utterly confused-looking]

[ ......................................... ]

That seems. . . not good.

[he winces a bit as the rest of the hand starts]

All 'cuz I said it'd be kinda cool, I bet.

Well, it is. . . 'kinda' cool.

Yeah, it's . . . wait, what is?

[immediately forgor]

Oh.

I see. Your fingers.

[looks at his fingers.

Well, would ya look at that.

In some ways, that lack of attention may be more detrimental. Though both seem. . . less than ideal.

Ya ain't wrong.

This is a performance, yeah? I don't remember it startin'.

. . . Yes, it is. You've paid a price for information.

That sounds 'bout right.

[he's being pretty calm about it, all things considered]

You're unbothered?

'M worried 'bout - [nods to Rose]

I should be all right. Hate to say it, but I've had worse.

I. . . hm. I see. Yes.

Hrm. Are you all right? Ya got veggies?

I got vegetables, yes.

—'m okay, it don't hurt that much.

[ looks unconvinced ]

[wiggles his metal fingers . . . a little awkwardly, since metal]

See?

You could just have a really high pain tolerance.

. . . well, I do.

But 'm all right, promise.

That makes things worse, you know!
