[The Showmaster leads you through the dark stage and you find yourself entering something that looks like a very nice and expensive classroom.

Each desk is spacious with drawers that you will conveniently find any important item that had been on your person or that you feel like you would need here. Each chair is cushy and swivels.

Sitting on top of the teacher's desk is a young girl, older teen / younger adult in age at most, hair that looks like mint cotton candy that probably reaches down to her ankles. She has a knee drawn up to her body, resting her chin on top as she scours the room of who arrived . . .

And then she looks at you all with disdain and slight fear in her face. You'll notice that her purple eyes shifts when she makes the scowl, it goes from a solid purple to a purple mixed in with this symbol in green also.]

I thought you guys might have been the exception, but oh no, no, no. Absolutely NOT.

THE WHITEBOARD

[On the whiteboard, there's a projection of all the squares you can pick from.

On your phone, there's an app you can open that lets you look at the other teams but you can only see if someone has selected them. You cannot see what the squares cost, you cannot see who selected what, you can only see if a team chose to buy a square or not.


Next to that you see the prompt that you must fill:

Just pick the words you think you like best and put them in some kinda order and I'll make you a story. Keep in mind, there's a price for the decisions you make. But you know that, don't you?"

She pauses and looks up at them.

"If you want to ask a quick question, go ahead, but if it's stupid or requires a long answer, I'm going to ignore you."

Whenever Showmaster does these performance stories, she talks 'bout different folks who were part of the Family once. One of ours is Elysium, he's popped up a few times.

I do like to see the shape of things wholly, however.
