I don't really consider it self-sacrifice. Their reasons are sound. It's a bad look to knowingly hurt another Family, especially if they're going to hold a grudge. I've already heard about people being unhappy with the results of previous performances. And if it's a way to spite a cruel producer...well, I can understand that too. I don't disagree with their arguments.
