[Something is wrong with the room you are in.

At first blush, it seems normal enough. It's nicely furnished, lavish dark oak, brass and a rich green drapery and carpet. Except in the middle of the room, a simple glass box sits wrapped in chains. Inside, a heart rocks back and forth as it beats, chambers constricting and relaxing around air.

But the more you look around, you might notice that the rafters beyond the brass lamps are made of bone, spine connecting them all. You might notice that the binding on all of the books seems to be an unusual leather. You might notice that teeth have been used as nails.

You almost can't help but notice the strange ... give... under your feet. Whatever is under the carpet seems almost spongy.

You know, instinctively, that the heart is in danger.

But so are you.]

Yeah, I'm kind of tossed on how high to go. 18 or up to 20...

Twenty is probably okay? I feel like twenty-five might be too high just because more people seem around there.

Yeah, I think twenty is a good split. I feel like most people here are 21 and above, but there's still some 20-year-old outliers. And Heron's 19.

Yeah, and I guess if we need to do a smaller age range later we can do the compound thing Flamingo suggested?

Even if it's not a mouth it's something fleshy and not where we want to be, for sure.

I'd say we should just try and get out, but we should probably think up some questions in case that doesn't work.

So what do you think? We need a way to narrow things down. Names A-H or something? Male/Female...? I guess we could try and narrow it down by family by doing the whole alphabet thing too.

If we try to escape, they might count it as cheating and penalise us, whether it works or not.

Hm... the alphabet idea might work, but we only have three questions, so it's going to be tough. Male or female might be a better first question...

I just worry that since there's so many more men or individuals who identify as male here on the ship, it won't narrow down quick enough. If they're female, it will. But if it's a dude, we got a lot more narrowing to do.

I think we should try and narrow some of the families out first, and if we think we've got it figured out between a few families, and if they've got some chicks on them, we could always try that route with a later question?

Yeah, it's a basic kind of filtering question but with the group we've got, it's not so useful right now. I'm good with shelving it for later.

"Belongs to a family who suffered injuries during wed, bed, behead" is another simple way to split groups.

... I like that one a lot actually. Cause that's only four families.

I also like that one. I think it's less likely to get nixed than some of the more obvious questions, too.

Yeah, they'd expect you to be paying attention and not just saying random families.
