Story Game Prep

Hello all! From June 12th to Jun 19th, there will be a pseudo-explora game that is all about your characters' psyche.

This is an INFO-GATHERING post, so you can tell me things so I can put them in the game! Below I'll have some examples of what I'm looking for. The game is not inherently trauma but basically whatever people put down I'll integrate into the setting.

Sign-up post is HERE -- here's some details!

=> You can sign up for TWO sessions max but one team and one mixed.
=> Each mixed session can have up to FIVE people in it, and needs a minimum of TWO to happen.
=> Team sessions have NO limit to number of people, but there can only be ONE session per team. (For example, Theseus could sign up for Session A with some friends and then Session O with the rest of his team. Or he could sign up for just A or O.)
=> I have a fairly open schedule so I can probably make some weird times work for your teams if needed.
=> The session times listed on the sign-up sheet are mostly for organization but if you (and your group) needs a different time I can probably make it work! Ping or DM me on discord!

INFO-GATHERING
This can be in their Limelight AU OR their true canon, it is what YOU as the player want to interact with.

You DO NOT have to fill it out to play.

You DO NOT have to fill out every section/fill out every section fully!

Character please list their TRUE NAME and their nom de plume
Family

A Place of Significance this should be a location that someone can experience. A subway car. A meadow with a fairy circle made out of death angel mushrooms. A classroom. Etc. Include as much detail as needed for it to be recognizable to the characters. For example, "A normal classroom" is probably not enough detail. But even something like "A 6th grade geography classroom with a row of jackets hanging on the wall. Each jacket is high quality, except one that has several patches sewn into it. There's rows of desks, a teacher's desk at the front and a large hanging map." is adequate.

Meaning => Please also describe the significance of the location.

2 Items of Significance these should be small enough to be HELD and with defining features easily recognizable to the characters. Something like "A well-worn coin with the face of a mermaid on one side, and on the other, a hatless man."

Five Emotions You Want Your Character to Experience The more specific the better. Like "Fear of being lonely" is mid but "Fear of an empty house, everyone they know is dead except their parents who once supported them now turning their back on them because they're the Anti-Messiah." is better.

5 Anything Elses This is basically anything else you wanna include. A pet. Another location. A memory. Another item. A feeling, a dream, a specific scenario. A sin, a regret, an event. Once again, detail/significance/etc is useful!

Character Till (real name), Forte and Anarchy (nom de plume}
Family Unholy Disorder

A Place of Significance
Anakt Garden-
An artificial 'garden' that actually serves as a kindergarten to pet humans. There are fake trees, a lake with mechanical fish inside, and the entire place is boxed in to look like the sky outside, but if you pay attention, you'll notice that you are inside a facility, and you can see the corners of the enclosure. Strange, red, foreign 'flowers' grow from the ground. It feels strange and sterile, like a weak imitation of what Earth or a real garden might feel like. Holograms are utilized to add to the garden's visual effects, and to disguise different areas.

The children's dorms, cafeteria, and other parts of the facility for classes are indoors. So are the punishment rooms, areas for training, as well as rooms where they conduct experiments on the children, and prison-like enclosures.

Meaning => This is the facility that Till was raised within. It housed all the friends he ever made, but was also a place of terror and pain too, especially due to the aliens and their many experiments.

2 Items of Significance these should be small enough to be HELD and with defining features easily recognizable to the characters. Something like "A well-worn coin with the face of a mermaid on one side, and on the other, a hatless man."
1. Music notebook - A small notebook covered in doodles and sketches on the outside of a guitar, music notes and other graffiti.
Meaning => It is the notebook that the song 'Cure' was written in- the song from his final competition with Ivan. Inside he scribbled out the lyrics and attempted drawing of Ivan inside.

2. Small child's recorder. It is a white, well-worn, but clearly loved recorder, covered in various little nicks and scratches due to the passage of time, and a section with a name clumsily carved weakly into one side.
Meaning => This is a present that Till received from Mizi, the person he idolizes and practically worships. She is his hope and reason to continue living, and so he considers it a treasured gift.

2 People of Significance
1. Ivan
Meaning => Ivan and Till have a hate-love relationship, where they fight and bicker, but have established a deep emotional connection to one another. Neither is good at properly communicating or expressing themselves, but Ivan is who Till knows better than anyone else, and has always stayed by his side through everything. Ivan tried to help Till escape the garden once, but afraid, Till returned back. This irreparably injured their relationship despite their continued feelings and friendship. Ivan ultimately threw their competition round together by'attacking' and kissing Till. Due to his actions, he was shot and killed, which propelled Till into the next round of his deadly competition and emotionally traumatized him.

2. Mizi
Meaning => In Till's eyes, Mizi is like a goddess or angel descended from heaven. He admires and 'loves' her, but is too afraid to actually approach her or get very close. He is more liable to daydream about her, even when beside her. Ultimately, he does not know her very well at all, except for the idealized image he has of her inside his head. Her warmth and kindness provide him hope and something to cling to despite all of the pain and suffering he is constantly subjected to. Her presence is what he uses to keep going and sustain himself. When she disappears, he loses almost all reason to live and becomes like a widower until Ivan's actions and death.

3 Items of Significance These can be any size!
1. Collar (with light that indicates how excited or calm he is)
Meaning => Because he is an unruly boy, Till is always collared by a white metal collar around his neck. Sometimes, they bind his mouth and entire body with similar but different-sized ones. Because he is a pet and disobedient, he is always restrained, even more than most.

2. Freddie - Living guitar?
Meaning => I am not sure how feasible this answer is, but Freddie is a living guitar that Till was given to use for his first performance on the Alien Stage (a singing death competition). He killed Freddie on stage after smashing him into the floor to distract his opponent and prevent him from singing.

3. Xylophone
Meaning => Till does not possess much, but for one of his birthdays, a child gifted him an xylophone. He would use it to play music and sing with the other children in Anakt Garden, which was one of the things that brought him some happiness and joy despite his circumstances.

Five Emotions You Want Your Character to Experience The more specific the better. Like "Fear of being lonely" is mid but "Fear of an empty house, everyone they know is dead except their parents who once supported them now turning their back on them because they're the Anti-Messiah." is better.

1. Crippling anxiety. The kind that leaves you frozen to the spot, gasping for breath as your heart races, trapped inside those emotions, helpless to escape the pounding fear inside your mind as it endlessly intensifies.

2. Depression. Where you can see happiness and the light in front of you, but no matter how hard you reach for it, the brightness floats farther away, until you feel yourself sink into an ocean of lonely emptiness, consumed by the vast and endless weight of it, unable to swim back up to the surface.

3. Stubborn determination. The feeling that even when knocked down, you'll wipe the blood from your face and stand up again. That when told you can't do something, you do it just to spite the person who said you couldn't, because you just can't give up.

4. The comfort and warmth of unconditional love and realizing your importance to that person, and that they want nothing more than for you to be safe and happy.

5. The adrenaline of excitement. Feeling the nerves and high of accomplishing something incredible- like performing in front of a crowd that you worked your ass off for. The warm knowledge that people are recognizing you for a talent, and feeling both thankful and unwilling to let them down.

5 Anything Elses This is basically anything else you wanna include. A pet. Another location. A memory. Another item. A feeling, a dream, a specific scenario. A sin, a regret, an event. Once again, detail/significance/etc is useful!

1. "Hatred is easier than a word as vague as love." The feeling of deeply caring for someone who is indelibly important to you, unable to cast them aside, but unable to articulate the relationship, floundering, misunderstanding, hurting each other, and still holding on despite that, while floating through endless waves of disorientation.

2. His memory of Round 6, where Moray forced himself to lose, dying at Forte's feet, leaving him to grapple with the trauma of his death, and what his action of kissing him truly meant.
